Wittenberg-Birnamwood won for the fourth straight time on the softball diamond, handling Shiocton on Thursday evening by a final score of 9-5.
Rory Salvesen and Lillian Lemieux both ripped three hits, including a home run and double from Salvesen, who drove in three. Lemieux added a double, while Brie Ladika doubled twice, with Evelyn Fletcher, Cam Miller and Lexi Scheurer all adding two hits each, backing up Ella Eichman’s complete game win on the mound.
The Lady Chargers are now 10-4-1 overall and 5-2 in the Central Wisconsin East Conference. Witt-Birn is back at it today (Friday), traveling to Bonduel.
