Just several weeks ago it appeared area baseball and softball teams would have no trouble beginning their slate of games outdoors, that is not the case as scheduled regular season play has arrived for softball.
Our recent turn to Winter-like weather has caused the postponement of the slated season openers between Antigo and Wittenberg-Birnamwood, as well as Elcho’s opening contest against Prentice.
No word yet on a makeup date for either game.
