The Marquette Golden Eagles will play Kansas State next season, meeting the Wildcats for the first time in 30 years. Milwaukee native Bruce Weber coaches a KSU squad expected to be an NCAA tournament team after reaching the Elite Eight last March. Eagles coach Steve Wojchiechowski says his team’s non-conference schedule is shaping up to be the most-challenging one since he’s been at Marquette. The K-State meeting is a home-and-home, with the Wildcats playing at the new Wisconsin Sports and Entertainment Center December 1st. Marquette travels to Kansas next season. The Golden Eagles are also signed up for the preseason NIT in November.
