Guilty Plea In Drunk Driving Death

A guilty plea was entered by a Tigerton woman in connection with a drunk driving crash that killed Robert Korhonen of Antigo last summer. That crash, on July 8th, also seriously injured Korhonen’s 25 year old daughter, Stacey. Stacey was a passenger on her dad’s motorcycle when a vehicle driven by Billie Jo McSherry crossed the center line on Highway 49 and struck them. McSherry’s 9 year old daughter was in the car with her when it happened. McSherry entered guilty pleas to felony charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and more. She has been behind bars with bail set at 350-thousand dollars cash. She will be sentenced on July 6th. She’s facing a possible 40 years in prison.
