Possession of 12 picks gives a team like the Green Bay Packers a lot of potential for improvement. Though there have been a couple of relatively high-profile free agent signings, talk of an “aggressive approach” for the Packers has been limited by lack of cap space. General Manager Brian Gutekunst needs to find a cornerback and a pass rusher or two. It’s not impossible two or more picks might be packaged in a trade. The Packers also need a tight end to develop, maybe an additional wide receiver and a guard for the offensive line.
