Badger Men's Hockey Tries To Preserve Top Ten Ranking

(Boston, MA)  —  The Wisconsin men’s hockey team will try to preserve its first Top Ten ranking in three years when it plays two games in Boston this weekend. The tenth ranked Badgers will face Boston College tonight and Merrimack on Saturday evening. Both opponents are winless after their first weekends of play, while the Badgers are 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the Big Ten after splitting a home conference series with Ohio State. Boston College played to a 1-1 tie in its only contest so far against then 14th ranked Quinnipiac, while Merrimack had a loss and a tie against Colgate. Meanwhile, the top ranked and unbeaten Wisconsin women’s hockey team opens its W-C-H-A schedule tonight and Saturday afternoon at Minnesota State.
