Packers’ corner Herb Waters has been put on injury waivers due to a shoulder issue from the June minicamp. If another team doesn’t pick him up, the 24-year-old Waters will either go on the Packers’ season ending injured reserve list or get an injury settlement before being let go. Waters reinjured his shoulder during the first training camp practice last Thursday and has not worked out since. He was a receiver, kick returner, and rusher at Miami/Florida before the Packers converted him to a corner this past spring. To fill Waters’ roster spot, Green Bay signed rookie defensive tackle Aiulua Fanene from Arizona.
