Don’t forget to cast your ballot in the spring election today. In Antigo, voters are deciding the Antigo Mayor between Incumbent Bill Brandt or replace him with challenger Doug Nonnenmacher. There are races for seats on the school board between Noel Deep, John Schroeder, Danny Pyeat, Roy Dieck and Patrick McKenna. Antigo voters will also decide a referendum on whether to reduce the size of the school board from nine members to just 5.

The only statewide contest is the one for state school superintendent. It pits two-term incumbent Tony Evers against challenger ,Lowell Holtz. Polls are open till 8 pm. You need a photo ID in order to vote. Acceptable photo IDs include a Wisconsin driver license or Wisconsin state ID card, Veterans Health Administration ID card, military ID card, U.S. passport, tribal ID card and some student ID cards. Voters can register at the polls.
