Brewers Bats Wake Up From 4-Game Nap In Come-From-Behind Win

The Milwaukee Brewers scored three times in the seventh inning to earn a come-from-behind victory at Cincinnati Monday, 6-5.  Catcher Manny Pina’s homer in the fourth was the first run the Brewers had scored in 23 innings.  Lorenzo Cain added a two-run shot in the fifth.  Rookie Brandon Woodruff retired four straight batters to pick up the win and Josh Hader fanned eight batters in 2 2/3 innings to earn his fourth save.  Closer Corey Knebel threw 25 pitches during batting practice on his way back from a strained left hamstring injury.  Chase Anderson starts Tuesday’s game for Milwaukee, with first pitch at 6:10PM.
