Talent Boost On The Way For UW Hockey Program

The quality of recruits to the University of Wisconsin hockey program is emphasized by the rankings released by NHL Central Scouting.  Three are in the top-50 and a total of seven are on the list — more than any other college.  Left-wing Sampo Ranta and defensemen K’Andre Miller and Ty Emberson were actually in the top-42.  Only Boston University can match that.  Others seen as having the potential to be a draft choice are goalie Daniel Lebedeff, left wing Jack Gorniak, and twin brothers and defensemen Cole and Christian Krygier.  Not everyone who is ranked gets picked in the NHL Draft.
