St. Louis Spoils Brewers 2018 Home Opener 8-4

The Milwaukee Brewers lost their fourth straight home opener Monday despite pounding three home runs in an 8-4 defeat.  St. Louis starter Miles Mikolas picked up his first major league win since 2014 after pitching overseas.  The Brewers got homers from Eric Thames, Lorenzo Cain, and Manny Pina, but lost for the first time this season.  Zach Davies took the loss after giving up six earned runs in 5 2/3 innings.  Chase Anderson makes his second start of the season in tonight’s 6:40PM game at Miller Park.  Rookie Jack Flaherty goes for the Cardinals.
