Milwaukee’s second loss in a row drops the Bucks a game and a half behind Miami in the Eastern Conference standings, good for eighth place in the race for a playoff position. There was too much DeAndre Jordan Wednesday night in the 127-120 defeat at the hands of the Los Angeles Clippers. Jordan scored 25 and grabbed 22 rebounds as the Bucks lost for the ninth time in 13 games. Star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo sprained his right ankle when he tripped in the second period and he didn’t play in the second half. Khris Middleton’s 23 points led the Bucks, while Jabari Parker contributed 20. The Los Angeles lead was double-digits most of the second half until a Thon Maker layup cut it to four with a minute-14 remaining. Milwaukee plays at Chicago against the Bulls Friday.
