(Madison, WI) — One reason the Wisconsin football team is 11-0 is that three backups have stepped up in the absence of injured receiver Quintez Cephus and senior Jazz Peavy who left early. Freshmen Danny Davis and Kendric Pryor, and sophomore AJ Taylor have combined for 14 catches and runs for 269 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Quarterback Alex Hornibrook says that when one of those young receivers makes a big play, the others get “antsy” until they can make their own big plays. Taylor is averaging 23 yards a catch, Davis has made four key third down conversions to keep drives alive, and Pryor has two rushing touchdowns to go with one receiving score. The fifth ranked Badgers are gearing up for their regular season finale at Minnesota on Saturday.
