(Madison, WI) — The surprise emergence of Wisconsin freshman running back Jonathan Taylor has sophomore Bradrick Shaw struggling. Running backs’ coach John Settle says Shaw is “pressing a little bit” with just four yards per carry after he had five-point-two in that department last season. Settle ran for 18 yards in seven carries last Saturday against Maryland and he’s hoping to get some more opportunities tomorrow when the undefeated U-W plays at Illinois. The Illini is last in the Big Ten and 107th in the nation in rushing defense, as it gives up 211 yards a game. Chris James also gets playing time at running back for the Badgers, but he’s been out for two games with a left leg injury.
