The Green Bay Packers will have two public practices this week as they get ready for their exhibition opener on Thursday night at home against Philadelphia. Practices begin close to the noon hour both today and tomorrow, after a Saturday Family Night at Lambeau Field attended by a revised figure of 63 thousand. Meanwhile, the Wisconsin football team is in the second week of its preseason camp in Madison as it gets ready for its season opener against Utah State September first. The Badgers did not practice in full pads in Week One, but coach Paul Chryst says junior running back Taiwan Deal appears faster and stronger than last season after offseason ankle surgery. Deal is expected to start the year as the Number three rusher in back of Chris James and Bradrick Shaw.
