The Brewers have the eighth best farm system among the 30 Major League organizations, and that’s according to M-L-B Pipeline Dot Com which ranked Milwaukee Number One last summer and fifth at the start of this season. Analysts say the Brewers dropped in the rankings because prospects Orlando Arcia and Josh Hader graduated to the big club in Milwaukee since last summer. The report also says a few Brewers’ prospects are having “so so” seasons this year, but it says G-M David Stearns has still rounded up a lot of talent including outfielders Keston Hiura and Tristen Lutz from the draft two months ago. Also, last year’s fourth rounder Corbin Burnes has already reached Double “A” while pitching as solid as anyone in the minors. The Chicago White Sox have M-L-B’s best farm system at the moment, with Atlanta second.
