Those severe storms that rolled through the area on Sunday afternoon left some damage in their wake. Officials with the city of Antigo and Langlade County say they started getting calls just past noon about downed trees and power lines. The Antigo Daily Journal reports that In the city, trees were reported blocking or partially blocking roadways at Arctic Street and Graham Avenue, Second Avenue and Hudson Street, and Sixth Street and Aurora Street. Outside of town, trees were down on County Roads N, B, J, H, T, P and S, along with Highway 55, Hagman Road, Evergeen Road, Pickerel Lake Road, and Range Line Road. Power lines were also reported in the roadway in several of the instances.
