Trees will take center stage during a Tuesday event in Antigo. Volunteers will be planting trees at the Railway Activity Park at 1011 First Ave. They’ll start at 10:30 and plant for an hour in honor of Arbor Day. Some shovels and rakes will be provided but participants can bring their own, too, and should wear clothes appropriate for the weather that they don’t mind getting dirty. No pre-registration needed, and lunch will be provided after the work is done. Wisconsin Public Service and American Transmission Company are providing the funds for the planting.
