A 37 year old man convicted of killing Stephanie Low faces a sentencing hearing today. Kristopher Torgerson was found guilty at trial of first degree intentional homicide following him being charged in October 2014 after he lead police to the burial site of Low. She was reported missing in 2010. He had been a person of interest in the Stephanie Low case, but it wasn’t until police told Torgerson that they would be filing a body-less murder charge that they said Torgerson agreed to cooperate. Torgerson has never admitted to killing Low. Low’s body was found in a wooded area in Forest County.
