The Antigo Boy’s and Girl’s track team competed in a 10 team meet in Colby Tuesday afternoon.
The Robin girl’s finished in 3rd place with 106 points. Top finishers for the girls were the 4×800 relay team with a 3rd place finish in a time of 12:18.18. Hannah Zenkovich with a 2nd place finish in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.22, Zenkovich won the 300 meter hurdles finishing in 50.68. Kimi Robertson won the pole vault with a jump of 9’6”, she also earned a 2nd place finish in the 100 meter dash clocking a time of 14.02. In the 4×200 relay Antigo earned a 3rd place finish with a time of 2:03.11. Morgan Hotchkiss won the triple jump with a jump of 32’ even, Dorothy Mifflin finished in 2nd in the discus with a throw of 93’3”. The 4×400 meter relay team also earned a 3rd place finish clocking a time of 4:38.01.
On the Boy’s side, the Robins finished in 5th place scoring 81 points. Top performers for the boys were the 4×800 relay team finishing 3rd with a time of 9:39.34, Will Dixon brought home a 1st place finish in the 400 meter dash clocking a time of 53.85. Thomas Nelson won the pole vault with a jump of 13’ even, Qwan Bussy and Mitchell Schroepfer swept the top two spots in the shot put, both had throws of 44’3”, Bussy was also 3rd in the discus with a throw of 113’5” and the 4×400 meter relay team earned top honors with a time of 3:40.82.
The Boy’s and Girl’s track teams will be back in action on Thursday when they host the Dale Peterson Invitational at Listle Field. Competing along with Antigo will be Crandon, Medford, Shawano, Rhinelander, Three Lakes and Wausau Newman.
