The Antigo Red Robin boys and girls track team competed in a 9 team meet in Medford on Thursday. The Robin boys took home a 6th place finish with 63.5 points. Antigo had two first place finishes with Mitchell Schroepfer winning the shot put with a throw of 45’4” and Thomas Nelson taking home first place in the pole vault at 12’ even, Will Dixon also had a nice night with 3rd place finishes in the 100 and 200 meter dash, Dixon had a time of 12.2 in the 100 and a time of 24.26 in the 200. Lakeland won the boys meet with 182 points.
On the girls side Antigo finished in 4th place with 88 points. Hannah Zenkovich was a double winner for the Robins wining the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.17 and the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 49.5. Kimi Robertson won the pole vault for Antigo clearing 9’ even. 2nd place finishers for the Robins were Dorothy Mifflin in the Discus with a throw of 81’11” and the 4×200 meter relay team of Alexis Paszak, Riley McCann, Amaya McCann and Robertson with a time of 1:56.75. Morgan Hotchkiss brought home a 4th place finish in the triple jump at 27’11”. Medford won the event with 174.5 points.
